Learn computer aided design and manufacturing
Free taster sessions for Smartline participants: 23 and 30 May, at the Digital Training Hub, Redruth
Computer aided design and manufacturing are fast becoming the normal way of making almost everything, and more and more jobs will rely on this technology in the future.
These short practical taster sessions will give you the opportunity to try out these amazing technologies.
Training takes place in a well equipped specialist Digital Training Hub using freely available, open-source software. Giving you the perfect environment to learn and create in a safe, modern, eco-aware facility. We keep our class sizes small so there is plenty of 1-1 time with the experienced tutor.
During these two, three hour sessions you will learn how to draw 2 dimensional shapes, cut and engrave with the Laser Cutter (or even the CNC router), and then turn them into 3 Dimensional objects that can be made on a 3D Printer.
For a short time only these sessions will be free of charge.
