Linking our health, housing and the wider environment
Where we live and how we spend our time can have a big impact on our health and wellbeing.
It is estimated that we spend around 90% of our time indoors, with 65% of this spent in our home. People who are most at risk by spending lots of time indoors are generally those who are the most vulnerable including the very young, elderly and infirm who spend more time indoors at home.
This is why Smartline are using sensors to gather information from participants homes as we hope to get a better understanding of the home environment.
